What can I expect on Sunday mornings?
Our Sunday morning service focuses on Jesus and his good news as we hear from God’s Word and respond in song. We occasionally use responsive readings, traditional creeds and familiar hymns, but we also incorporate more “modern” styles and songs as well. We love Jesus and want to foster a worshipful environment that points to him, regardless of style or format. We typically celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of every month. As for clothing, we do not have a “dress code,” so wear what you like.

Is there anything for my children?
We have a nursery for children from six months to three years old, and starting with our four-year-olds we offer age-appropriate care in a classroom setting that will point your children to Jesus Christ in an engaging way. For 2nd–5th grades, we offer Kids’ Church (beginning mid-service) for children who want to enjoy learning about God’s Word in large- and small-group settings with peers.

Additional Opportunities to Connect

Is there a midweek meeting?
Throughout the year we have Midweek, which consists of a meal and teaching, usually for a set number of weeks. When Midweek is scheduled, we meet Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m., and childcare as well as activities for elementary-aged children are available.

For regular interaction and participation in the life of CrossPointe, consider joining a Community Group.

What are Community Groups?
Community Groups are small groups committed to the gospel, community of believers, and mission of the church. Groups are long-term by nature though we encourage groups to form new ones as they grow. Group leaders are trained to lead the group in regularly studying Scripture, shepherding and praying for one another, and reaching neighbors and friends with the gospel. Groups may be joined at any time. You can read more about Community Groups here.

How can I get involved at CrossPointe?
As the previous question suggests, Community Groups are the best way to get involved at CrossPointe. Beyond joining a group, visitors are encouraged to attend CrossPointe faithfully and begin serving as they see the need. Common areas of service are Children’s Ministry & Kids’ Church, youth ministry, worship & tech team and various other Sunday morning responsibilities (like greeters and ushers). For more contact information or questions, please e-mail Robert Ward.

Is CrossPointe part of any denomination?
For the purpose of cooperation in both local and foreign missions, CrossPointe Church partners with the Southern Baptist Convention and affirms the Baptist Faith & Message. It is important to mention that while we may seek the assistance and counsel of other like-minded churches in matters of special concern to us, the decision of no other church, group of churches or association is binding on CrossPointe.
